This sand is creamy white in color and was collected from Coral Beach, north of Claigan, which is located on the northwest coast of Skye Scotland, U.K. It is made up clam shell fragments and the fragments of red algal mats that are washed up on to the beach (as opposed to the coral pieces the beach name would have you believe).
